About BCS, llc (and me, us)

Bill & Vennie- - My wife and I are retired educators.
- - I retired from Ft Knox with 30 years of service in 2001.
- - My wife, Vennie also retired from Fort Knox with 26 years of service.
- - As a senior citizen, I am not one of those technicians who assumes gray hair means "Commuter Illiterate" (I have lots of gray hair}.
- - As a Teacher, I taught elementary through Junior high for 10 years.
- - As an Education Specialist and Instructional Systems Specialist for the Army, I have taught teachers to teach and training developers how to develop training for 20 years.
- - Another major function was to teach small group facilitation skills to individuals involved with small group instruction and Equal Opportunity (EO) intervention and training.
- - I also taught computer skills and presentation skills for the Ft. Knox Civilian Personnel training (CPAC).
- - I have always been fascinated by computers and what makes them tick. As retirement neared, I remembered what my Daddy always said "you rust out a lot faster than you wear out".

- - - - - - As a Business - - - - -

Bill Teaching- - I completed my computer technician certification in 1999.
- - I frequently take courses at our local college and am always looking for ways to keep current in the lightening paced evolution of computer technology.
- - Bill Beeler—Computer Service & Repair became a reality in January of 2000. Beeler's Computer Services, LLC evolved in December of 2008.
- - My business is community focused - but I also remotly repair computers located in different states.
- - My repair business is by appointment only. I do not keep regular "store hours".

My customer base is:

- - Local residents of Hardin County, Kentucky.

- - Out-of-area and out-of-state customers having their computer repair and maintenance performed remotly.

- - Organizations and individuals expanding their horizons through a web presence.

- - I do contract warrenty work for several national companies.

- - I present computer classes and seminars.

My web based services: Remote computer service and Webmaster services were launched in December of 2008 and is still evolving.

I offer you what you need, not what I have in stock. I do not sell computers and am not a retail parts store - but I will be quick to let you know if it would be more cost effective to replace instead of repair.

- - I do not advertise very much. Word-of-mouth is my main source of new customers.
